Los Angeles, CA (prHWY.com) March 8, 2013 - I have a question for you that do you see any connections between sports and traveling. In many sports, it seems to there is no links between sports and traveling at all. If there, it sounds like you move to other parts of the world to play or compete. The venues are stadiums, sporting halls, etc... Then after playing or competing, you travel around the city to see it. That is all about the connections between these two things. However, there is a very special sport that you can do play sport and travel at the same time. Can you make a guess? Here are some hints for you. They are waves, sea, foams, and wind. Yeah, it is surfing. In surfing, sport and traveling do happen at once.

When you surf, you have a chance to go to many wonderful lands and parts of the world. Normally, many surfers tend to surf near the beaches of their hometown. However, with the aim of finding a good surf spot and surf camp, surf trip is a good option. By doing this they can find many wonderful places for surfing around the world like Hawaii in the US, Mexico, Costa Rica, Hainan in China or Bali in Indonesia. It is very easy that nowadays, surfers can find information about surf trips online with just a few clicks on Google.

Different from football, rugby for example where you have to play in stadiums with thousands of spectators with huge pressures sometimes, surfing is a great sport that sea or beach is the venue for you to play. How wonderful it is when you can compete in a place, where you can play with waves and wind like that. Spectators are also very different. They are travelers to the beach, who will cheer for you heartily. Therefore, because the pressure is less than in other sports it is better for you to compete. As a result, the game will make us feel very more comfortable and enjoyable, and less aggressive.

One of my favorite surfing places is the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam which is nicknamed as the pearl island of Indochina. It is very great place for me to surf personally. I have taken 7 surfing trips there in the last 5 years. The conditions for surfing there is so perfect. In addition to that, the people there are very hospitable that as I said will cheer for you heartily.

In summary, surfing to me is not just a sport with competitions. It is also the entertainment, relaxation and traveling that brings me a lot of fun and good health. Take a surf trip now to feel that experience.
