Studies highlight correlation between employee performance and internal communications initiatives

Studies conducted by Towers Watson are proving that employee performance in companies can be increased through various motivational measures and internal communications initiatives such as team building activities, celebration of company milestones and recognition of staff achievements. Today, a growing number of Saudi companies are adopting these international practices to keep their employees motivated and maximise their productivity at the workplace.
"Elaf Group", operating in the travel and tourism industry, recently shared its experience about staff communications and the "Staff Open Day" they organise annually. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mahfouz, Chairman of SEDCO, the parent company of Elaf, thanked the board members of the group and the management for the success achieved over the years. He also recognised the achievements of all Elaf staff members.
"We have been constantly focusing on investing in employee motivation and development initiatives as we strongly believe that employees who are satisfied and motivated can significantly drive growth and contribute to overall productivity, efficiency and performance optimization," said Sheikh Saleh Bin Mahfouz.
