Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) March 12, 2013 - Storage pods are becoming an ever popular way for people to store valuables. People place items in these storage pods in the hopes of protecting them from dirt, dust, floods, and other disasters. It is the belief that storage pods need to protect items that helped John Green develop a new storage pod unit.

"I was trying to come up with a new design that would really help protected items", said Green. "There are units that protect the items, but none that protect against everything. That was when I thought of the tombs in Egypt."

John Green researched the various tombs in Egypt. Egypt has been the location of over 1,000 different tombs that kept hundreds of items projected against different types of weather and disasters.

"Rarely do researchers discover a tomb that has items that are completely damaged", said Green. "I thought if I researched these tombs, I'd be able to come up with a design that really helped project these items from the elements. That was my goal."

It took over 14 months of research for John Green to see what the tombs of Egypt included. He was able to tour some of the most well-known tombs, see how they were build, and really research all aspects of the tombs.

"It was amazing walking into these tombs", said Green. "It was like I was walking down the halls of history. It was a really amazing feat."

John Green was able to create a storage unit that really protected all items from all types of weather and other things. The storage units debuted at his local storage unit rental facility and have been a huge success.

"I have people that say these units really store the items like no other unit can", said Green. "We even have people joking that they could put food in there and it'd be kept fresh for weeks. That's how well these storage units are closed up. It really is amazing."

Green plans on expanding the number of available units across the United States. He is currently looking to form a partnership with a leading storage unit facility to offer these amazing units.

"I am so blessed to have been able to do this", said Green. "I was able to tour some of the most well-known historical places. And I got to create an object that will help thousands of people. It really is amazing."
