Robert Huth, defender for Stoke City, faces a three-match suspension after an altercation with Fulham's Philippe Senderos during the February 23 match. The languid Berbatov scored at the half-time mark, the only goal in Fulham's win over the visiting Stoke City. With his usual poise, Berbatov perfectly timed a volley into Stoke City's near post. The goal was the only one in Berbetov's 200th Premier League match.

The incident occurred as the two defenders jockeyed for position, and was unnoticed by the officials during that time. Stoke city has confirmed in a press release that their prime defender has chosen not to contest the FA charge and has accepted its consequences. This does not bode well for Stoke City. Already without a win after their last 15 Premier League trips to London, their miserable streak looks to continue. Without their premier defender, they will have a difficult time against their next three opponents. Stoke City will face West Ham United next, followed by meetings with Newcastle and West Brom.
