Is Warm Water Coming to Ice Igloos Thanks to a New Tankless Water Heater in Seattle
Igloos are a big tourist attraction in some of the artic areas of the world. One of the biggest complains or problems seen by people staying in an igloo is the ability to get warm water into the structure.

"Most people staying in an igloo need to get warm water for bathing, making tea, and even cleaning", said Katie Holiday, a travel consultant. "The only way to get warm water in an igloo is to heat the water over a fire. That was until this new recent development in igloo designs."
Many owners of igloos have come up with the idea to add a small tankless water heater to the structure. These tankless water heaters run off of electricity and provide the people in the igloos with instant warm water.
"We have decided to add these tankless water heaters to igloo designs", said Gavin Mallow, owner of several rental igloos. "Most of the people who stay in the igloos have a generator that can produce electricity and power. We created a tankless water heater that works with the generator to create warm water."
The small compact tankless water heater design was inspired by a heating and cooling company out of Seattle. Many Seattle homes are smaller in size, which caused Travis Daniels to create a smaller tankless water heater system. This is the system that is used in the igloos.
"I was staying at a friend's house in Seattle and noticed the small tankless water hear", said Daniels. "I was thinking it would be a perfect addition to the igloos as it would solve the whole hot water issue."
The installation of the tankless water heaters in the igloos are the first of its kind in the area. The units were equipped with the units six months ago, and have since sold out.
"We have seen an extreme spike in the number of guests who wish to stay in the igloos since we installed the tankless water heaters", said Daniels. "It really is amazing."
Many of the guests are excited about not having to boil their own hot water. That was one of many drawbacks to having an igloo.
"I always wanted to stay in an igloo", said Sarah Highland. "I was just worried about having to boil my own water. These tankless water heater systems solve my problem and I get to live out one of my lifelong dreams!"
