The fresh face for holistic patient care: Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy announces podiatry services

Newmarket, Australia (prHWY.com) March 18, 2013 - Brisbane- 13th March 2013. Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy is happy to announce a new addition to the team. Mr Scott Blake will be joining the well established

physiotherapy clinic as their new podiatrist. Scott hails from QUT and brings to the practice a fresh set of skills and considerable experience in the

assessment and treatment of lower limb conditions.

Podiatry encompasses the management of a wide variety of conditions including basic foot care (including various acute and chronic nail conditions and the

treatment of corns, calluses and warts), arthritis in the feet, paediatric foot conditions and biomechanical foot conditions. In addition to these skills,

Scott also is trained in the prescription of orthotic devices to correct biomechanical or pathological conditions of the lower limb.

Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy is a young clinic located in Newmarket, only a few minutes from Brisbane City. The clinic houses the three full time

physiotherapists as well as two sub-licensees; Shape Nutrition, the in-house dietician and The Shoulder Guy, specialist physio service. This will be the

first time that a podiatrist is joining the staff at Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy. Mr. Blake expressed his excitement at becoming a part of the well

respected clinic and looks forward to meeting and working with the clientele. Owner, Bobbie-Jo Strong is positive that this is a step in the right direction;
