The books and lyrics of the musical come from Lee Hall and features compositions by the legendry tune-setter Elton John. This Stephen Daldry directorial features some of the finest Ballet dancing moves.

The ensemble cast of the show includes Gillian Bevan (Mrs. Wilkinson), Deka Walmsley (Dad), Killian Donnelly (Tony), Ann Emery(Grandma), Sean Kearns (George), Kay Milbourne (Dead Mum), Simon Ray Harvey (Mr. Braithwaite), Barnaby Meredith (Older Billy).

The musical features the tale of a young child Billy. He is born in North London where men has just two interest in life, their work in mine's and boxing, an art they practice in leisure. The ongoing miner's strike has put majority of them out of work and now boxing is the only interest they have in life. Billy's father wants him to learn the game, but the motherless Billy is interested in ballet dancing.

Secretly he practises the art and dreams to join the Royal Ballet School one day. Billy Elliot show London is suitable for audiences over seven years of age and is a theatrical delight involving mesmerizing singing and dancing.

The show has been running at the Victoria Palace theatre since 2005 and lists among one of the longest running musicals of West End.
