London, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) March 18, 2013 - American country music recording artist Craig Morgan is set to take off on a dog sledding holiday in the Arctic next month, as part of the Fjellraeven polar sled-dog expedition.

48-year-old Morgan, who dubs himself a "survivalist" and has been involved in many 'extreme' activities in the past, is said to be looking forward to putting his skills to the test in the harrowing Arctic winter.

The Fjellraeven trek will cover 205 miles of mountain, between Norway and Sweden, over the course of 4 days. The Tennesse singer, along with son Kyle, will be among the 20 beginners to have the chance to learn how to control a sled, with his efforts being televised for his reality show on the Outdoor Channel.

Though a beginner in the art of sledding, Morgan is used to sub-zero temperatures, as part of his Army experiences.
