Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) March 18, 2013 - Hollywood animal actors have provided the world with tons of entertainment, but these delightful furry actors have been denied one right - the ability to collect SSI disability. While the animals pay into the Social Security system, they are not entitled to collect SSI disability in the event they get hurt.

"All my animals pay into the social security system", said animal trainer, Paul Rightman. "When they get injured or sick, they are not able to collect any compensation. That leaves me with the task of paying for vet bills, food, and other expenses."

Paul Rightman was approached by a local SSI disability lawyer who wanted to fight for the furry animal actors rights. This layer believed that because the animals paid into the Social Security system, they should be allowed to collect compensation in the event of their injury or illness.

"I don't think all animals should be able to collect SSI disability", said the lawyer. "I just think animals that earn a living, pay taxes, and other things should be able to seek compensation. It is only fair."

The SSI disability lawyer took the case to the local courts. The local courts ruled that it was a national government issue and referred the case to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is planning on hearing the case sometime next year.

"We are gathering evidence and other things to support our claims", said the lawyer. "I am really excited that this is a real achievement in the rights of animal workers. These furry friends do work and do pay taxes. They have the right to collect the same benefits as humans."

After hearing the case, several state lawmakers have jumped on the bandwagon and started campaigning for animal actor rights. Most of the lawmakers come from states where animal actors are in high demand.

"The entertainment industry thrives on animal actors", said a state lawmaker who wished to remain anonymous. "Everyone loves to watch the animals on screen or stage, but when it comes to giving them the rights they deserve we try to stop them. That isn't right."

Several of the state lawmakers have created a petition that can be signed by residents. The petition would allow the SSI disability lawyer and the lawmakers to show the Supreme Court that there is support for these animals.

"We want to show them that there is support for these animals receiving the same rights as humans", said the lawmaker. "This petition is the right way to go about it."
