BBA in Delhi: IP University admission process for 25 MBA, BBA programmes opens

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi offers various MBA and BBA allied course. Admission for all the courses is done through Common Entrance Test (CET).

Noida, India (prHWY.com) March 19, 2013 - The University has 11 Schools of Studies which altogether conduct as many as 36 undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes for more than 4000 Students.

University School of Management Studies
USMS is an on-campus school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and offers 2years full time General MBA and MBA in Financial Markets. Total intake for MBA is 100 while for MBA (Financial Markets) is 60.
USMS launched MBA Financial Markets Programme in collaboration with NSE in the year 2011. This programme offers regular MBA degree along with the NSE's Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM).
Fee Structure
Total Fee for regular MBA Programme at GGSIP University is Rs. 1 lakh for 2 years.
The fee for weekend programmes at the University for MBA, MBA (Consultancy Management), MBA (Banking & Insurance), MBA (Real Estate) and MBA -Disaster Management is Rs. 1.56 lakh for 2 years.
Common Entrance Test (CET)
GGSIP University conducts CET for various courses. CET 2013 for MBA courses will be conducted on Sunday, 19th May 2013 from 10:30 - 1:00 p.m.
The CET for MBA programme consists of the following subjects:
English Language & Comprehension-(30%),
Numerical Ability-(30%)
GA - (10%)
Reasoning ability including DI-(30%)
For post-graduate level courses, the standard of questions for Entrance Tests will be of graduation level.
The result of the exam will be declared on Wednesday, 5th June 2013.
Application Date:
Last Date for Submission of Application Form for all programmes by Hand/Post/Online is Tuesday, 9th April 2013 up to 5 p.m.
Seats Allocation
- Delhi Region: 85% of the Sanctioned Intake
85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute located in Delhi or from any College/ Institute affiliated to GGSIP University. These seats will be filled up through the merit /rank list of the CET- 2013 prepared for Delhi Region candidates. The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination through Distance/ Open Education system of any recognized University/ Institute and had his/her Study Centers in Delhi will be considered as Delhi Region Candidates
- Outside Delhi Region: 15% of the Sanctioned Intake
15% seats are reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute located outside Delhi. These seats will be filled up through the merit/rank list of the CET-2013 prepared for Outside Delhi Region Candidates.
Counseling
The University will prepare a list of qualified candidates separately for each course in order of merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the CET.
All the admissions will be made only through two counseling to be conducted by the University.
Date for 1st Counseling of MBA: Thursday, 13th June 2013
Date for 2nd Counseling of MBA: Wednesday, 17th July 2013

Under Graduate course:
BBA & Allied Programmes: BBA/BBA (CAM)/BBA (B&I)/BBA (T&TM)/BBA (Modern Office Management)
Common Entrance Test for BBA and Allied programmes are scheduled by GGSIP University on Sunday, 5th May 2013 from 10:30 - 1:00 p.m. The result will be declared on Wednesday, 15th May 2013.
The CET for BBA & Allied Programmes consists of the following sections:
English Language & Comprehension-(25%),
GA-(25%)
Logical and Analytical Ability - (25%)
Aptitude relating to the field of Management and for Communication Skills-(25%)
The University will hold an online counseling for BBA and Allied courses. A separate notification will be issued after declaration of result.

Admission Criteria
A candidate should have passed in or appeared for 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English as a subject.
Aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of best four subjects including one language and compulsory subject(s).
