With RFID hardware and an everyday PC, the system is able to handle personnel and vehicle access control for an entire building.
This RFID access control software system, model 617001, provides 24 hour unmanned operation. The system can be managed remotely through a Web interface. Tags and tag holders can be added, edited, and removed by the responsible staff at the head office without the need of having them to travel to the site.
This system is compatible with various most GAO RFID hardware. Passive LF, HF and UHF and semi-passive and active technologies can all be flexibly used together in the same system. In addition, this system also provides group management and customizable reporting.
This full-featured RFID access control software system belongs to GAO's family of RFID Software. This line also includes other featured software such as RFID Parking Control Software which is a lightweight, flexible monitor/control software program designed for RFID parking control applications, and RFID Asset Tracking Software System which is able to track the movement of the tagged assets within a site and send out alerts when certain conditions are met by placing RFID readers at various choke points, such as doorways, and placing RFID tags on important assets.
