'Shoot Out At Wadala' based on book Dongri to Dubai written by Hussain Zaidi

'Shoot Out At Wadala' is an upcoming Bollywood crime, drama flick which is written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. The movie is sequel to 2007 released film 'Shoot Out At Lokhandwala'. The film is expected to release on May 1, 2013.

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) March 21, 2013 - 'Shoot Out At Wadala' is an upcoming Bollywood crime, drama flick which is written and directed by Sanjay Gupta under the banner of Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. The film features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood in lead roles. The movie is sequel to 2007 released film 'Shoot Out At Lokhandwala'.

This film is about the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where one of the most wanted gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. The incident took place at the junction next to Dr. Ambedkar college, Wadala, Mumbai on 1 November 1982.

According to John Abraham "Shootout At Wadala is a completely different film than Shootout at Lokhandwala. My Fans are going to be shocked seeing me in this character. This is one of the best performances of my career. I hope to get appreciated critically and commercially, and if I get the National Award, then that will be great. I am very excited and would like to say to the my fan's and audiences across the world that, I hope I don't disappoint you all and I hope that you will enjoy the film".
