XIMB Placements 2013: XIMB completes placement; Average package @ Rs. 11.81 lakh
XIMB completed the campus recruitment process (Xuberance'13) for its graduating batches of 2011-13.

According to the institute, students from its all the 3 streams of PGDM i.e. PGDM (Business Management), PGDM (Human Resource Management) and PGDM (Rural Management) got job offers during the placement process. The passing out batch is the Silver Jubilee Batch of XIMB.
PGDM (Business Management)
As per XIMB, 70 companies participated in the placement process of which 26 were new recruiters. Total of 179 candidates of PGDM programme participated in the placement process. The highest domestic salary stood at Rs. 17.25 lakh per annum while the average annual compensation stood at Rs. 11.81 lakh per annum. The highest international package of USD 69,000 per annum was offered in the Business Development profile.
Major recruiters like Cognizant, HCCBPL, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, TCS, Dr Reddy's, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata Steel, Idea, SBI Capital Markets and Idea recruited from the campus. New recruiters included corporates like Amazon, Cisco, DE Shaw, HSBC Bank, Tata Capital, Amrop, ACC Ltd., TASL to name a few.
23% of students have been extended PPO/PPI from their summer intern organizations, the institute said.
The profiles offered varied in their diversity, encompassing Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Business Consulting, IT consulting and Business Development.
In Consulting area Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG etc. were some of the major recruiters offering roles in Business Consulting.
The Marketing area saw recruiters like Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCBPL), L'Oreal, Amazon, Cisco, Godrej, Marico, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata Steel, Borges, Cargill and IDEA recruiting 22% of the batch.
In the Finance stream, jobs were offered to the students by major financial corporate like JP Morgan, SBI Capital Markets, Crisil, ICRA, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata Capital, HDFC Life, Magma Fincorp and many more.
The Systems sector absorbed almost 23% of the batch. Major recruiters were Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, Capgemini, Wipro, Polaris, Exilant Technologies, Mindtree, Tata Interactive Systems, etc.
PGDM (Human Resource Management)
32 companies participated in the placement process for the first batch of 59 students of PGDM (HRM).
The highest domestic salary stood at Rs. 14.30 lakh per annum while the average annual compensation stood at Rs. 9.4 lakh per annum. As much as 25% students received PPO/PPI opportunities during their summer internship itself.
Major recruiters were, Tata Corp HR, Aditya Birla HR Leadership Program, Amrop, Capgemini, Tata Steel, DE Shaw, Glenmark, Edelweiss, Madura Garments, Dr. Reddy's Laboratory, Deloitte Human Capital, ITC Infotech, Ambuja Cements, Shree Cements, JSPL, L&T, Reliance and many more were among the top recruiters of the 2011-13 batch of PGDM (HRM).
PGDM (Rural Management)
The highest domestic salary offered to the Rural Management graduates was Rs. 9.65 lakh per annum. The highest international salary offered was Rs. 21.73 lakh per annum CTC.
The major recruiters were Jeevika, Odisha Livelihood Mission - Tripti, UCO Bank, Monsanto, Bajaj Auto Finance, CEAT Tyres, AMUL and ITC.
A number of new recruiters like All India Disaster Mitigation Institute, NABARD Financial Services, Pesticide India Limited, AISECT also participated in the recruitment process.
This year also witnessed recruitment from companies in emerging new sectors like JSPL offering profiles for CSR, i9 Media offering profiles in Branding and Advertising and AISECT offering profiles in EGovernance etc.
