Potential tourism investments to be highlighted at Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market
Industry representatives stress on maintaining quality and performance to lead the industry

Saudi Arabia is entering a new phase of comprehensive development focusing on a number of vital sectors that include tourism. Events covering travel and tourism investments in Saudi Arabia are vastly gaining significance through a combined conferences and exhibitions platform aiming to present and promote investment opportunities, tourism services and products across KSA.
Organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center, the "Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market" (STTIM) forum is set to host technical sessions to discuss the major issues related to the tourism experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the key learning from last year, seeking to further boost the hospitality industry.
The 2013 edition of the event aims to highlight tourism investments in addition to the need of comprehensively improving the industry. Commenting on the tourism development in the region, Ziyad Bin Mahfouz, President of Elaf Group of Companies and a member of the Tourism Development Council for the Makkah region pointed out that travel exhibitions are vitally important for highlighting the tourism potential in Saudi Arabia and shedding light on tourism investments for enhancing the industry.
"We will be participating at the STTIM this year to explore the market and update all our target groups with our new hospitality offerings. In addition, we aim to exchange experiences, as well as highlight the challenges we faced and the solutions we offered. This is being done with the underlining goal of enhancing the tourism and travel industry in Saudi Arabia. This exhibition also highlights the achievements of the sector and we are here to grab every opportunity that may benefit the market especially by offering job opportunities for Saudi nationals and by exploring ways to improve other vital aspects within the tourism sector," concluded Bin Mahfouz.
