BlackMask's "Guillotine Rap" Album Get's Release Date

BlackMask finally get's a solid release date for his up coming "Guillotine Rap" album.

South Florida, FL (prHWY.com) March 25, 2013 - After over two years in the making the latest offering from the ex Watchmen and Wu-Tang Affiliate front man called Guillotine Rap now has a tentative release date. The project will be in stores worldwide on June 11th 2013 and will be distributed threw a joint venture with his label Platinum City Entertainment, Allegro Media and Sony IODA. The album has features from Wu-Tang family members such as Young Dirty Bastard son of the late rapper O'l Dirty Bastard and production from the Grim Reaperz producers of Jedi Mind Tricks, Vinnie Paz and Snowgoons. The release of the album will be followed by a 22 U.S. city tour and album signing as well as a 10 city Florida promotional tour. This will be BlackMask first solo album in over 9 years, coming off of the success of his group album called Wu-Tang Management Presents: Watchmen an All Music.com Top Pick Album in 2010. When asked about what inspired the album here's what he had to say:

"The truth is that there are many things that I channeled energy from to make this album what it is. I was in a dark place in my career and I wasn't sure if I wanted keep making music. I was at home when my mom came over and she was telling me to get up and get in the studio. She knew that this album would be a turning point in my life's work. I feel like as artist we always set limit because we try to please everyone when making an album. I have to say that this is the first time in my career that I went into the studio with just making me happy on my mind. And what I came out with was Guillotine Rap. My offering to modern Hip Hop."

The albums lead single "Fortified" has already been featured on a Coast 2 Coast mixtape hosted by Maybach Music Groups artist Stalley and will be available only as a digital download while the album will be in traditional retail outlets worldwide. Music video set to premier on World Star Hip Hop and MTV2 in May.
