Newly launched flight from Qatar Airways to Cambodia
The Qatar Airways has recently launched a new flight from Doha to Phnom Penh. It fact, its debut flight was on the 20th of February 2013.

Last year, there is an astonishing increase of 21.4% tourists travelling from Middle East to and from Cambodia, exceeds the big 1,000. However, according to an official from the Cambodia airport, the Qataris and people from Middle East are not to be seen around significantly as visitors. In fact, the number of European travellers including those from the United Kingdom, France and Germany are in the first place.
One of the reason Phnom Penh is not so widely visited by high-end tourist is because the capital of Cambodia only offers four 5-star hotels to all tourists. The four luxurious hotels, equipped with great facilities and exceptional services, are Combodiana Hotel Phnom Penh, Intercontinental Phnom Penh, Nagaworld Hotel and Entertainment Complex Phnom Penh and finally, Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh. Siam Reap, on the other hand, which is where the famous Angkor Wat situated, offers far more high range hotels in comparison to Phnom Penh.
Cambodia may not provide the most luxurious travelling opportunity but its rich culture and heritage made it a worthy place to visit and you should definitely add it in your bucket list! However, do note that it is your sole responsibility to ensure you have the right visa while meeting the local medical requirements. Thus, be sure to check out the Cambodia visa requirements before planning your trip.
