Fabio Jafet Celebrates 20 Years in Mass Media

Fabio Jafet, a well respected and multi-talented member of the entertainment industry, is celebrating 20 years in the business.

Fabio Jafet is well versed in many of the mass media outlets that make up traditional and emerging forms of mass media. Fabio Jafet has worked in mass media for the last 20 years. He has explored a variety of roles within the entertainment and news industries.

Fabio Jafet began his career as a broadcast journalist. He has won 9 Emmy Awards and the coveted Green Eye Shade Award. Fabio Jafet was given assignments all around the world. Fabio Jafet was sometimes required to operate undercover in order to get the best story. Fabio Jafet had undercover assignments in Australia, Mexico, the Bahamas, Cuba, and the Middle East. Some of his pieces include: the O.J. Simpson trial, the Oklahoma City bombing, the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the murder of Gianni Versace, the events of September 11, and the war in Afghanistan. "I was never intimidated by dark subjects when I was working in broadcast journalism. The mayhem and horror of the world need to be exposed," says Fabio Jafet.

Fabio Jafet has also enjoyed a successful career as a director, producer, editor, director of photography, photographer, writer, and creator. His varied skill set makes him a sought after commodity in the entertainment industry. Fabio Jafet directed the film "Waking Up Dead." Some of Fabio Jafet's producing credits include: the Source Awards pre-show, the award winning CBS Miami (WFOR) show "Viewfinders" and the award winning documentary "Assignment Afghanistan," the Latin Grammy's Pre-Show, and the Skid Row DVD entitled "Under the Skin."

Fabio Jafet is also recognized for his abilities as a talented editor. Fabio Jafet was the editor of two award winning documentaries titled "Facing the Habit" and "Fatboy." He edited the number one video of 2009, Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me." As a director and editor he has worked with an impressive list of musicians to create music videos, documentaries, Electronic Press Kits (EPKs), DVDs, and commercials. Fabio Jafet has worked with such artists as: Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Britney Spears, Flo-Rida, Hotel Diablo, Lil' Wayne, KISS, Skid Row, The Toadies, DieFast, Children of Bodom, Thrown Into Exile, Billy Blue, Coyote Theory, Deep Blue Something, Billy Miles, Temple of Brutality, and countless others.
