Stays In Tuscany Villas Are Popular Charity Auction Prize
Paid stays in Tuscany villas are becoming a popular prize for raffles and fundraisers, as demonstrated by recent and upcoming events.

The first of these events took place in Cheshire, England, at the end of last month, and funds reverted towards the renovation of the church spire at St. Phillip's and St. James's church, in Alderley Edge.
The week-long holiday was the subject of a silent auction, which proved to be the highlight of an evening which raised £14.000 of the £95.000 the parish still needs in order to reach their goal of £150.000.
Across the Atlantic, in Pennsylvania, USA, a theatre group had the same idea. The People's Light & Theatre will be gifting a stay at a luxury villa to the winner of a raffle at their upcoming fundraising auction, on April 19.
The proceeds of this event, which will also be honouring author Jerry Spinelli, will go towards the theatre's Arts Discovery programme, which encourages appreciation and understanding of art among children. The institution has set a goal of $110.000 for this auction, which will be complemented by an elegant dinner.
