OMICS Publishing Group- Overview of Acid Rain
Acid rain is rainfall made up of water minute droplets that are uncommonly acid because of environmental contamination - such as the excessive amounts of sulfur and nitrogen released by vehicles and industrial procedures.

Acid rain is rainfall made up of water minute droplets that are uncommonly acid because of environmental contamination - such as the excessive amounts of sulfur and nitrogen released by vehicles and industrial procedures. Acid rain is also called acid buildup because this term includes other forms of acid rainfall such as snow.
Types of Acid Deposition:
Mainly the Acid deposition occurs in two ways: wet and dry deposition. Wet deposition is any way of rainfall that eliminates chemicals from the weather and remains them on the Planet's surface. Dry deposition damaging contaminants and fumes stick to the ground via dust and smoke in the lack of rainfall. This way of deposition is dangerous however because rainfall can eventually wash contaminants into sources, ponds, and waterways.
Causes of Acid Rain:
Acidity deposition can happen via organic resources like volcanoes but it is mainly brought on by the discharge of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide during fossil fuel burning. When these fumes are released into the weather they respond with the water, fresh air, and other fumes already existing there to type sulfuric acid, ammonium nitrate, and nitric acid. These chemicals then spread over huge places because of wind patterns and drop back to the ground as acid rainfall or other types of rainfall.
Effects of Acid Rain:
Aquatic settings are the most clearly affected by acid deposition because of acidity rainfall drops straight into them. Both dry and wet buildup also operates off of jungles, fields and streets and moves into ponds and rivers. As this acidity fluid flows into larger bodies of water, it is diluted but over time, chemicals can accrue and lower the overall pH of the body. Acid deposition also causes clay soils to launch metal and mineral magnesium further decreasing the pH in some areas. Finally the acidity deposition too has a cause on architecture and art because of its ability to rust certain materials. As acidity areas on buildings it responds with nutrients in the rocks sometimes resulting in it to break down and clean away. Acid deposition can also corrod modern buildings, vehicles, railway paths, aircraft, metal connects, and pipe above and below ground.
The main aim of the OMICS Publishing Group is to share scientific knowledge by publication of research articles in international journals, organizing international conferences, in addition to publishing eBooks from academics and scientific community.
