New Delhi, India (prHWY.com) March 30, 2013 - The Human Resource ministry has increased the Copyright Registration Fee manifold, on 15th of March, which came as a rude shock to the creative world.

Film makers , actors, fashion designers, writers and musicians in India has decided to step up their protest on this huge increase of upto 40 times the registration fee.

This increase has been looked upon as a rude shock, wheras the govt says it has done so to provide better service and stop the increasing trend of treating the copyright registration http://www.legalserviceindia.com/copyright/register.htm as a godown for most publisher as said by Adv.Tarun Choudhury.

The Creative Association in Mumbai have decided to take up the matter with the Ministry, to lower the fee an increase of 40 times is unreasonable and demands a re thinking on this issue.

The sudden increase of Copyright registration has spurred this situation, the spokes person of Choudhury's law office Adv.Tapan Choudhury believes that the govt will not roll back the hike as it is a long over due increase.
