The magic of a Maldivian Easter

Male, Maldives (prHWY.com) April 3, 2013 - It's the season of chocolates, rabbits and spring, when Easter hits Kuramathi this March. The celebrations begin on the 29th March extending until the 1st of April with an elaborately planned program for our young guests at Bageecha Kids Club (http://www.kuramathi.com/kidsclub/index.html). Old-time classics such as the Chocolate Egg hunt, crafting baskets and Easter games return along with newer activities and games full of pure Easter magic.

The fun begins on the 29th with decorating the Kids Club, mostly by adorning it with mini rabbits, delicious eggs and colourful handicrafts created by our jolly Easter crew. Once they finish lighting up the décor, fun and games will follow in the afternoon with a perk: a rewarding flow of ice cream to cool off the sizzling Maldivian heat.

It's all about "eggs-cessive" exploration the next day, where the motive is to find bundles of edible goodies hidden within Bageecha. After enjoying the yummy tidbits, the Easter crews will build a make-believe farm at noon followed by a Water Balloon fight. How very tempting it is!

Weaving the magic basket for the egg hunt is up on the 31st, where the objective is to create the best basket since it would determine the number of eggs the Easter crew collects as bounty. On the last day of Easter, the children will get to do something unique as they attempt to craft an Ostrich egg out of papier-mâché. A scrumptious BBQ takes place in the noon, followed by a movie in the mini-theater.

Easter at Kuramathi promises to be a memorable one this year. Plenty of laughter and good times are guaranteed along with the unlimited fun!
