Privatization of Space Exploration: Business, Technology, Law, and Policy
President Obama's space plan call for the privatization of space exploration.

Space entrepreneurs and private sector firms have already made significant innovations in space travel. They have plans for future tourism in space and safer shuttles. In the book, The Privatization of Space Exploration, Lewis D. Solomon details current US and international laws dealing with space use, settlement, and exploration. He then offers policy recommendations to facilitate privatization.
Richard Mains, of the Commercial Space Gateway, says, "It provides a very good overview of the emergence of the entrepreneurial space sector and its broad significance for the commercial space industry and NASA. It integrates several key factors that are both driving and required by these new enterprises in order to succeed. It was a pleasure to read and I commend it to any who would like a quick tour of this emerging market."
