Dr. Debashis Sanyal is the new Dean of the NMIMS B-school

Dr. Debashis Sanyal started his new inning as the Dean of School of Business Management at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Prior to this, he was the Dean (Academic Program) at Management Development Institute (MDI).

Noida, India (prHWY.com) August 10, 2010 - Dr. Debashis Sanyal started his new inning as the Dean of School of Business Management at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Prior to NMIMS, he held important positions of Dean (Academic Program) at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon and Joint Director at Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India (ICWAI). He also headed the EMBA program at S.P. Jain Center of Management, Singapore
Dr. Sanyal, describing his new role said that, "the challenge is to take NMIMS to even greater heights, where students and faculty not only possess contemporary knowledge and skill, but also understand the need and aspiration of people coming from all spectrum of our society."
Dr. Sanyal has done his Ph.D. in the area of Finance. He is a merit holder of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India. He holds a Master Degree from Calcutta University. He possesses graduate level teaching and academic administration experience of over 25 years.
He has to his credit publications in International and National Journals. He has chaired number of panels in International and National conferences and has been key resource person for various seminars across the world.
