The topic will be delved by Dr. Ashok S Kolaskar, Vice Chancellor, KIIT University; Dr. J K Mitra, Former Dean & Faculty, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University; Dr. B S Sahay, Director, MDI Gurgaon; Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH; Dr. Indira J Parikh, President, FLAME Global Academy; Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Director, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bangalore and Dr. K K Jain, Faculty, IIM Indore.
The topic, Future of MBA Education was chosen to be discussed owing to the huge churn the Indian Management education is undergoing. The Directors of the B-schools will discuss the future of MBA education in India. Some of the main aspects of discussion will be online testing, reducing cost and improving efficiency, leveraging IT and e-Learning tools for branding and marketing B-schools.
Dr. Kolasker has a career of over 30 years marked by numerous accomplishments in bioinformatics research, teaching, mentoring and managing large academic institutions with outstanding success acknowledged by numerous national and international awards, fellowships and recognitions. Dr. Mitra is a recipient of the First young Scientist award in Psychology and educational science from Indian Science congress Association. He has served as visiting professor for SDA Bocconi, Milan.

Prior to joining MDI, Dr. Sahay was Director of Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad for over four years. He was also an Adjunct Professor at School of International Business, Queensland University of Technology, Australia and Founding Chairman of Centre for Supply Chain Management.
Dr. Chaturvedi has more than three decades experience in teaching, research and administration. As former Director in All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, a statutory body under MHRD, Government of India, he has been associated with formulation of policies, planning, regulation and control Management Education as well as other disciplines under technical education.
Dr. Parikh is the Founder President of FLAME, Pune. Earlier, she was the Dean of IIM Ahmedabad from 2002 to 2005 and professor in the Organizational Behavior area at the B-School. She is on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and several other organizational and academic boards.
Dr. Gupta is a Certified Cost & Management Accountant from ICWAI Calcutta. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He was awarded Fullbright Research Fellowship for doing research in US, Prior to to joining SIBM Bangalore as a Director he was working with IIM Kozhikode as a faculty.
Dr. Jain is a faculty of IIM Indore in the area of Organizational Behavior and Human Relations. He is presently the chairman of the area and the FPM of IIM Indore. He holds Ph. D. and M. Com from Agra University.
The theme of the conclave throws light on the challenges that the Indian Management Education is facing. This conclave will serve as a platform where directors from top B-schools, CXOs and HR heads, global management thought-leaders, education policy makers, service providers and top faculty members from the management field will share their views which may create a difference in the field of Indian Management Education.
Highlights of the conclave include keynote address from Salman Khurshid, Minister of State (Ind. Charge) for Corporate Affairs, Govt of India, Dr. Bakul Dholakia, Former Director, Indian Institute of Management - Ahmadabad and Padma Shri awardee; Renowned scholar Dr. Srikant M. Datar, Senior Associate Dean and Director of Research at Harvard Business School will deliver the Keynote address at the Conclave via a video conference from the Harvard Business School's Boston campus. Dr. David A Wilson, President and CEO, GMAC (via video conference) and Dr. Eileen Peacock, VP & Chief Officer Asia, AACSB will provide global perspectives on management education.
