CAT 2010 notification to be out on August 22: CAT Convener

The notification for CAT 2010, which is going to be held from October 27 and November 23, 2010 is going to be declared on the coming Sunday, i.e. August 22, 2010. CAT 2010 Convener, Prof. Himanshu Rai confirmed this with MBAUniverse.com.

Noida, India (prHWY.com) August 18, 2010 - The notification for CAT 2010, which is going to be held from October 27 and November 23, 2010 is going to be declared on the coming Sunday, i.e. August 22, 2010. CAT 2010 Convener, Prof. Himanshu Rai confirmed this with MBAUniverse.com. "CAT 2010 notification will be out on the coming Sunday, August 22, 2010," said Prof. Rai.
The notification will contain the dates of the CAT 2010 exam, the application deadline and other details regarding the exam. CAT is going to be held in a 20 day window in 32 cities. Like last year, this year too the computer based test will be organized by Prometric with its delivery partners MeritTrac and Everonn.
CAT 2010 will be conducted by IIM Lucknow and IIM Calcutta this year. CAT 2009 was conducted by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. CAT was initially held from November 28 to December 8, 2009. But due to technical glitches it was held on two extra days, January 30 and 31, 2010.
