IIM Raipur to start its first academic session this October

IIM Raipur, the new IIM to be mentored by IIM Indore has announced the admission for the batch 2010-2012. The last date to apply is Monday, August 30, 2010.

Noida, India (prHWY.com) August 19, 2010 - After two IIMs -- IIM Rohtak and IIM Ranchi - starting their session this summer, IIM Raipur has announced the launch of its maiden academic program for the year 2010-12. The announcement was made by IIM Indore which is mentoring IIM in Raipur, the capital of Chattisgarh.
According to the information shared by IIM Indore on its website, the candidates who had taken CAT 2009 are eligible for applying in the two year Post Graduate Program (PGP) to be offered by IIM Raipur. The last date to apply is Monday, August 30, 2010.
IIM Indore mentions, "The current academic session is scheduled to start around 10 October 2010 and is planned to complete before end of April 2011. The maximum intake including all categories will be 70."
The minimum percentile which is required for the admission in IIM Raipur is 90. IIM Indore mentions that the tuition fee for the program per year is Rs. 3 lakh.

Candidates who are interested in applying for IIM Raipur should download the IIM Raipur application form from IIM Indore website: www.iimidr.ac.in/iimrp .

This year, two new IIMs, IIM Rohtak and IIM Ranchi have already started their sessions under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow and IIM Calcutta respectively. Another IIM which will be functional from 2011 is IIM Udaipur, under the mentorship of IIM Ahmedabad.
