Grand Rapids, MI (prHWY.com) July 19, 2011 - This summer, Chrysler is sponsoring an exciting, cross country race from Detroit, MI to Golden, CO, with participants making stops along the way. The race incorporates elements of a scavenger hunt, and is co-sponsored by Mopar, Chrysler's after-market parts brand. The challenge, named the Chrysler Group's Mopar MoVenture Road Rally, is sure to be an exciting ride and Grand Rapids used car dealer, Van Andel Chrysler, is looking forward to seeing the outcome of the challenge.


The Chrysler Mopar MoVenture race will consist of ten two-person teams driving Chrysler-made vehicles that use Mopar parts. The race will span seven days, beginning on July 15th and ending on July 22nd. Participants will make stops in cities such as Chicago and Milwaukee where they will compete in challenges on their way to their final stop in Golden, CO. The participants must follow the speed limit the entire way to each destination, and will drive a maximum of five hours each day. Race participants are competing for a grand prize of $5,000 worth of Mopar prizes.
