Westbury, NY (prHWY.com) July 19, 2011 - Beginning in May of this year, Toyota rolled out its all new "100 Cars for Good" program, which recognizes 100 non-profit organizations throughout the United States. Toyota's 100 Cars for Good selects 100 non-profits over the course of 100 days and awards each non-profit with a new Toyota car. Used Avalon Long Island dealer, Westbury Toyota, is excited about the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program, and is pleased with the outcome thus far.


The Toyota 100 Cars for Good program allows the public to vote for the most deserving non-profit through its Facebook page, where five non-profits are profiled each day. One non-profit is selected per day through a tally of Facebook fans' votes. The four remaining non-profits are given a $1,000 grant from Toyota. Voting will take place from May 9 through August 16 this year, and Facebook fans are allowed one vote per day. The winning non-profits are given the choice of which Toyota vehicle they take home, from a selection including the Toyota Prius, Tacoma, Tundra, Highlander Hybrid, Sienna or Sienna Mobility. Winning non-profits are challenged to take the cars to "do good" in their communities.
