New EP from the travelling Danish metal band Downswitch

Irving, TX (prHWY.com) July 19, 2011 - The "music" world is now and must be seized - because no one gives a shit about tomorrow.

The last couple of years hasn't exactly found the five guys from Danish metal band Downswitch living on easy street.

For starters their record label Ducth Metal Records closed down. Later they had to replace a couple of members and then quite a few shows were cancelled.

Recently they were set to play a sold out Loppen with their popular French colleagues Dagoba, but had to accept the Christianites had the place in a state of lock down.

Now, however Downswitch is starting afresh with a raw, direct and honest release.

The 4-track EP is called "Within The Light" and it is a few steps from the very polished sound many metal colleagues tend to have. A sound they also had on their debut album 'Let Clarity Descend From Blackened Skies' from January last
