The 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine was developed by Chrysler and has been used for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. The Chrysler 6.4 liter HEMI V8 is suspected to produce approximately 465 horsepower, and many also suspect that Maserati will release a second version of the SUV with a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine. Maserati will begin production on the Maserati SUV in late 2012 and plans to have the car on the market in 2013 or 2014.
