Toyota awarded U.S. science teachers with $10,000 grants

Westbury, NJ (prHWY.com) July 22, 2011 - Last month, Toyota continued its 21 year long tradition of honoring U.S. teachers by awarding 50 science teachers $10,000 each for demonstrating excellence in teaching science to American students. Toyota's TAPESTRY program has awarded over $10 million to over 21,000 teachers in the U.S., and continues the tradition with granting $500,000 to science teachers last month. Toyota awarded the cash prizes to the teachers that showed the most creativity and excellence in science education.
