Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) July 25, 2011 - Rangbaaj, a forthcoming Bhojpuri film based on the evils of naxalism and criminals is all set to hit the theatres on 29th July. The film features Hyder Kazmi who has also produced the film along with Rani Chhatarjee, Phool Singh, Maya Yadav, C.P. Bhatt, Umashankar Mishra, Bal Govind, Ram Mishra, Supriya Gautam, Soniya Mishra, Amit Mehra, Master Samad Kazmi, Vipin Singh, Nilima Singh, Sima Singh, Tasnima Shekh, Anil Yadav, Brijesh Tripathi and Vijay Lal Yadav. The film is written and directed by Shivram Yadav while Aman K Shlok has composed the music for the film. The film also has a raunchy item number by Sima Singh.

About the film, producer and actor Hyder Kazmi says, "The issue of Naxalism is very vast. It is not possible for everyone to understand its meaning. How many people are aware about the genesis of Naxalism and the reason behind it? I am sure very few people are aware about Charu Mazumdar, the man who started the movement at Naxalbari in Bengal. My aim is to convey the message to the people in an easy format."

Rangbaaj is the story of Krishna Yadav (Hyder Kazmi), the lead protagonist of the film who is a savior of the weaker sections of society. Krishna takes on single handed to deal with the atrocities of criminals and politicians like Kali Pandey (Brijesh Tripathi) and Bachcha Singh (Anil Yadav) who are kingpins of the mafia in Bihar. Krishna raises his voice against the illegal and criminal activities by these people thereby risking his own life along with that of his lady love, Gunja (Rani Chatterjee) and his uncle (Phool Singh) and aunt (Maya Yadav). Bachcha Singh casts an evil eye on Gunja and wants to marry her while Kali Pande kidnaps Krishna's uncle and aunt to kill them.

Will Krishna succeed in his fight with these criminals? Can Krishna save Gunja from disgrace? Can he save his uncle and aunt? Can he bring his parents' murderers to book? To know all this catch 'Rangbaaj' in a theatre near you on 29th July.
