Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) July 26, 2011 - Chala Mussaddi Office Office is a tale of hopelessness, perseverance, revolt, truth, honesty with the right doses of comedy. Chala Mussaddi Office Office focuses on the red tapism and bureaucracy that exists in the government offices in India and how the common man is harassed for simple things. The film also brings to light the extent of corruption in the country. Chala Mussaddi Office Office is directed by Rajiv Mishra and jointly produced by Rajiv Mehra, Umesh Mehra and Rajesh Mehra. The film has Pankaj Kapur, Deven bhojani, Aasawari Joshi, Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra and Hemany Pandey in the lead roles. Bollywood composers Sajid-Wajid have composed the music while eminent lyricist Gulzar has penned the lyrics for the film.

Chala Mussaddi Office Office portrays the life of a retired school teacher, Mussaddi Lal Tripathi, a common man who loses his wife to a serious disease, thanks to the utter negligence and selfish interests of the doctors. Mussaddi then decides to go on a pilgrimage of the four holy sites to immerse his wife's ashes along with his unemployed and useless son, Bunty. Pension officials come to Mussaddi's house to verify his status. Musaddi's neighbour Gupta tells them that Mussaddi has gone far away, and the Pension officers interpret that Mussaddi Lal has expired, and report him dead in their files.

After Mussaddi comes back from his pilgrimage, he is shocked to know that he is a dead man according to Government reports. He tries his best to convince the pension officials that he is alive but in vain which prompts Mussaddi Lal to get proof of his existence. While the pension officers decide amongst themselves that whatever proof Mussaddi brings they will not allow him to be officially alive since they have already mopped up his pension money. Mussaddi now revolts in his own way and get justice his own way. How far Mussaddi succeeds in overcoming the corrupt system remains to be seen in the film.
