BMW Woodside sales up in June 2011

BMW's June sales show upward trends, and the 5 Series, X3 and Convertibles are heading the surge

San Mateo, CA (prHWY.com) July 26, 2011 - In order to estimate an auto manufacturer's success, quite a few pieces of data are analyzed. One of the major things to look at is monthly sales compared to previous years. BMW Group is happy to report a 15.1% June 2011 sales increase from 2010. That's a pretty big leap, even for the BMW 5 Series. Santa Clara shoppers will be amazed at the progress this means for the American economy.

Ahead of the rest in number of vehicles sold are the 5 Series, X3 and Convertibles. The BMW 5 Series has experienced a 13% growth in sales. BMW Woodside dealers have had it on the lot for a full year now, and development is strong. The X3 Sport Activity Vehicle experienced an incredible 270% increase in sales and convertibles are up by a combined total of 200%. Even boosts in pre-owned BMW Woodside sales have been recorded.

BMW of North America CEO Jim O'Donnell is excited about the increase. He notes that, "with all that's gone on in the world in the last month, our own economy and auto market are still volatile places so you'd better have the right models and business strategy to attract customers in this environment. We've been fortunate to have both and that's why we're in the market leading position for the first half of 2011 and more new models are on the way giving us the opportunity to stay there." It seems that BMW 5 Series lovers can rest easier, knowing that the future of their favorite car is safe.
