Toronto, Canada (prHWY.com) July 28, 2011 - Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its UHF Gen2 RFID satellite tag equipped with Impinj's Monza 3 tag chip. It is an ideal solution for pharmaceuticals, garments, and other small to mid-size items.

This UHF Gen2 RFID satellite tag, model 116009, operates at a frequency range of 860 to 960 MHz. It combines near field (NF) and far field (FF) performance in one unit. This tag offers a read range of up to 2.7 m and a 96 bit EPC memory. It delivers outstanding performance in a relatively small rectangular format. Its antenna size is 32 x 18 mm. This tag is compliant with EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C standards. In addition, it is available in dry inlay, wet inlay and paper tag format. It operates at a temperature range of -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F), making it perform well even in harsh environments.

This UHF Gen2 RFID satellite tag belongs to GAO's family of UHF EPC Gen 2 RFID Tags. The line of products includes a wide variety of RFID tags to meet customers' different requirements.
