Hazing Awareness Scholarship Renewed for Fall 2011/Spring 2012

NY, NY (prHWY.com) July 30, 2011 - CollegeGreekBooks.com is proud to announce up to seven $700 cash awards for its book scholarship via the renewal of the Hazing Awareness scholarships for the Fall 2011/Spring 2012 school year. The cash is intended to provide assistance for a student's books and/or supplies while bringing awareness to the perils of harmful peer pressure hazing.

All college students, undergraduate and graduate, that are enrolled in any accredited College or University that has a Greek social setting may apply. A student must be in good standing at their school with a minimum 2.0 GPA or C Average.

Also, up to the first ten applicants of each deadline month (see below) will receive one free rare collectible "Big Walt" autographed book of their choice from CollegeGreekBooks.com, which includes "The Secret Sisterhood" and "Pledge Brothers" but not the movies shipped via USPS (post office) or personally delivered by Big Walt Anderson. Big Walt Anderson states, "I hope this bookscholarships fund helps a few students in need. I remember how I had to borrow my colleagues' books or I had to try and check books out at the library because I didn't have enough money to pay for them".

Each Applicant will be asked to fill out a one-page application, provide a copy of their current school registration and transcript and write or photocopy their school's "Hazing Policy." Students may apply by contacting their school's scholarship office and requesting an application or an application can be downloaded from http://www.collegegreekbooks.com/cashaward.html

Applications must be returned by the 6th of each month (see below deadlines), and awards are granted around the 30th of each month.

Deadlines: Aug. 6th, 2011, Sept. 6th, 2011, Oct. 6th, 2011, Nov. 6th,
2011, Dec. 6th, 2011, Jan. 6th, 2012, Feb. 6th, 2012, March 6th, 2012,
April 6th, 2012, May 6th, 2012, June 6th, 2012 and July 6th, 2012 -
Applications will be valid for the upcoming deadline date only. Students may apply once per long semester only. Winners will be posted beginning Sept 30, 2011.
