This installation features a variety of contemporary drawing styles, techniques and practices ranging from the early 1960s to the present day. Conventionally a drawing often serves as a preliminary "study" for a larger or more complex work of art, or it serves as a quick sketch for a future idea. However, many contemporary artists choose to work in drawing because of its immediacy, physical malleability and adaptability to a wide variety of concepts. This exhibition includes drawings by Eva Hesse, Bruce Conner, Ewan Gibbs and Louise Despont.
