Auckland, New Zealand (prHWY.com) August 8, 2011 - In 2011, New Zealand will host the largest sporting event to take place on its shores. 13 venues will host 48 matches across the country from 9 September to 23 October 2011.Rugby World Cup (RWC) is held every four years and is the third biggest sporting event in the world - and it's coming to New Zealand in 2011!

There are 12 games confirmed for Auckland, including the opening match, the bronze final, both semi-finals and the final. All these key games will be played at Auckland's Eden Park, with three of the pool matches to be played at North Harbour Stadium.

The tournament itself will be played across both the north and south islands of New Zealand with 13 stadiums hosting the games, the main venue for the opening game and the final will be the famous Eden Park in Auckland.
