Chicago Mercedes dealers excited about successful July sales

Mercedes-Benz USA reports best July sales since 2006

Northbrook, IL (prHWY.com) August 16, 2011 - It's hard to understand how some car companies seem to be dominating the competition in an industry like the current automotive market, but it appears that Mercedes-Benz has done the trick.

Consumers shopping for a Chicago used Mercedes-Benz model will be interested upon hearing that the luxury auto brand reported increased sales for July 2011. Sales team members at Chicago Mercedes dealers are indeed proud of the car company and remain optimistic about the rest of the year.

Mercedes-Benz USA announced July 2011 sales of 21,065 vehicles - a 16.7% improvement over July 2010. In fact, this number helped the luxury automaker achieve its highest July sales since 2006. As far as 2011 sales thus far are concerned, Mercedes-Benz accomplished an 11.3% sales increase over the same time period in 2010.

Chicago used Mercedes-Benz shoppers should know that the models to lead the sales army were the E-Class and C-Class lineups - with 5,114 and 4,554 units sold, respectively. Another top contender was the M-Class SUV, which finished third in July 2011 sales with 2,778 units sold. The all-new SLK roadster increased July sales by 1,758.3%, and the 2012 CLS-Class posted a 657% increase over last year as well.

Several other models became more popular among consumers the past month, but Mercedes-Benz fans will have to visit their favorite Mercedes dealer to learn which ones had successful sales or to test drive the top-selling models. Sales team members can't wait to show off the leading models and are confident that they will remain popular throughout the rest of 2011.
