The first teaser of 'The Dirty Picture' directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor is out. The film is a biopic on the tragic life of the southern sex siren, Silk Smitha. The title role is being played by Bollywood actress Vidya Balan.

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) September 1, 2011 - The first teaser of The Dirty Picture' directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor is out for the audiences. The teaser will give the audiences a fair idea of what to expect in the film. The film based on the life of Souther sex siren, Silk Smitha who was a popular item girl has been much in news for its bold content. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan who will be portraying Silk Smitha will be seen in one of her boldest roles till date which involves explicit skin show. Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah play the men the Silk Smitha's life.Buzz is that there are quite a few steamy scenes between Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi who plays one of Silk Smitha's lovers and also between Vidya and Tusshar Kapoor who plays Silk Smitha's real life lover.

The first look of the film that was revealed in the form of the film's poster that grabbed eye balls with all the leading men in a close embrace to Vidya Balan. But the thirteen second teaser has gone a notch higher that has Tusshar Kapoor and Vidya Balan romancing in the backdrop of rains. Tusshar holds Vidya's sari by one end and she swirls away from him as he strips off her sari. The garish background music with a coquettish female "uh!" in the end is a reminder to the music of the 80s. Though the sleaze in the film is being hyped, the film focuses more on the tragic aspects of the item girl's life rather than the sordid details of her affairs.
