US Tennis Open 2011 in September in New York City

This is one of my all time favorite sports events. The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is one of the nicest sporting venues I've ever seen and the crowd is always amazing.

New York, NY (prHWY.com) September 1, 2011 - The 2011 US Open is a tennis tournament to be played on outdoor hard courts, from August 29 to September 11, 2011 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Park, of Queens, New York City, United States.

This is one of my all time favorite sports events. The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is one of the nicest sporting venues I've ever seen and the crowd is always amazing. Who knows, maybe you'll catch an 11 hour tennis match this year?

Players compete in Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. CBS, USA Network and many international broadcasters will carry the action live as 2010 winner Rafael Nadal returns to defend his crowns. Women's champ from 2009 and 2010, Kim Clijsters, will be back in action at Flushing Meadows.

Tennis matches occur during the day (11 a.m.) and at night (7 p.m.) on most days of the tournament, and are held in several venues within the grounds of the USTA National Tennis Center.
