Kansas City Nissan dealer announces the Nissan Leaf to Home System
Rolling Hills Auto excited to announce Nissan's new, two-way charging system.

The all new two-way charging system, called the Nissan Leaf to Home System, is designed to allow Leaf owners to draw from the Nissan's 24 kilowatt hours of total energy storage from the vehicle's lithium ion battery. In times of emergency, such as a power outage, the Nissan Leaf battery is expected to have the ability to power an average home in the United States for one full day, and an average Japanese home for two full days. Nissan plans to release the Nissan Leaf to Home System in Japan within the next year, and will release the system in other countries as Nissan adapts the system to local electricity systems.
