Interbrand surveyed a number of brands across multiple industries while compiling the list, and Toyota was named number one across all industries, globally. Toyota's Green Performance Score was the highest compared to every other brand, for a total of 64.19. Other auto makers included in the top 50 were Honda, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Ford. According to Interbrand, Toyota is a "leading example of making the environment a core management priority, while also engaging in a meaningful way with audiences around the world."
