CPCMG and CPMG Doctor Wins 'Best Pediatrician' Reader Poll

CPCMG and CPMG physician Dr. Jaime Friedman has been announced as the winner of The East County Californian Newspaper's "Best of East County" reader's poll.

San Diego, CA (prHWY.com) September 21, 2011 - San Diego, CA ( prhwy ) September 20, 2011 - For the second year in a row, Children's Primary Care Medical Group (CPCMG) and Children's Physicians Medical Group (CPMG) are proud to announce that one of their physicians has won the title of "Best Pediatrician in East County". This year's winner is Dr. Jaime Friedman. The results, which were based on a reader poll conducted by The East County Californian newspaper, will be featured in a special edition of the newspaper titled "Best of East County." Highlighting the winners from all the "Best Of" categories, the special edition will run from September 22 to October 6, 2011. Dr. Katherine Feinstein of the same CPCMG office was last year's winner.

Dr. Friedman is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing medicine since 1999. After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Friedman completed residency at the Oregon Health and Science University. She has since settled in Southern California to work with CPCMG and CPMG patients and families from around the greater San Diego area, and in particular, East County. Along with treating children, Dr. Friedman also uses her time to provide new mothers with breastfeeding and lactation counseling.

The results of the latest poll only serve to validate CPMG's level of commitment to its patients. With over 400 affiliated pediatricians and pediatric specialists in San Diego and southern Riverside counties, CPMG consistently provides only the highest level of pediatric healthcare to its enrollees. In addition to efforts to provide top quality care to its patients, CPMG also supports several children's organizations around the area, including the youth recreational soccer league of the San Diego Soccer Club and San Diego State University's Aztec 'Tickets for Kids' and 'Aztec Ball Kids' Programs.
