Ra.One music launch creates history

The music launch of Ra.One, Shah Rukh Khan's most ambitious film till date, had a glitzy launch like no other film ever in the history of Bollywood. The event marked live performances by the lead actors of the film, Shah Rukh Khan,

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) September 21, 2011 - Shah Rukh Khan is sparing no effort in promoting his mega ambitious project, Ra.One. the superstar organized one of its kind, unique launch for the music of his film. Shah Rukh had also sold the broadcasting rights to a leading television entertainment channel to telecast the music release function. At the event SRK truly became a superhero as he got on top of cars and flew mid air with the help of suspended cables, making the event a spectacular one. Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal grooved with SRK to the number Chammak Challo and Dildaara. They were also joined by the music composers of the film, Vishal-Shekhar.

The music was launched by Shah Rukh Khan's good friend and film maker, Karan Johar. Shah Rukh dedicated the music to Yash Johar and Juhi Chawla's brother, Bobby Chawla who is currently in the ICU following a brain hemorrhage a sometime ago. Bobby Chawla is also the CEO of Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan's production company. After music release of Ra.One, Shahrukh Khan said, "I want to dedicate this album to Yash Joharji and Bobby. When we started our company Red Chillies Entertainment the one who helped me start it was Bobby and the one who gave me so much love, was Yash Joharji. So this is for them."

At the event Vishal-Shekhar said, "This is one of our best albums ever. It is built for the biggest film of all time. Everything has been grand in the film and so is the music and the collaboration of international personalities like Akon, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra."
