Kenosha Toyota dealers happy for 100 winners

The final set of winners is announced for "100 Cars for Good"

WAUKEGAN, IL (prHWY.com) September 21, 2011 - Besides exceeding sales goals and dominating the competition, car companies have to go to other lengths to attract consumers. Toyota has already claimed its spot as leader in green technology in production lines, but has gone a step further to help communities.

Round Lake used car shoppers can now review the entire list of 100 winners of Toyota's "100 Cars for Good" Program, which began over 100 days ago. Sales team members at dealers of Toyotas in Kenosha like Classic Toyota are excited for the program's completion and know the vehicles are being put to good use.

All winners spanned several categories, such as child services, animal welfare, and education. These organizations strive to improve communities by tutoring children facing homelessness, providing care and comfort to those with terminal illnesses, or distributing food to families in need. Each of these organizations deserved to be considered, and Toyota is happy to assist and encourage them in their mission.

Toyota has been announcing 25 winners at a time, for a total of 100 deserving nonprofit organizations. What Kenosha Toyota shoppers can appreciate is that the winners were chosen by the public. Each day during the voting process, five organizations were profiled on Toyota's Facebook page, where individuals could review and vote for the nonprofit they felt most deserved a new Toyota model.

New and used car shoppers need not worry about the other finalists (four per day during the competition). The remaining contestants each received a $1,000 grant from Toyota, which is sure to come in handy in their goal to do "good" in their communities.
