Chargers will soon be smaller and less expensive

Jersey City, NJ (prHWY.com) October 13, 2011 - Less than a year ago, Nissan took a huge step towards greener driving with the release of the first all-electric and zero-emissions vehicle, the Nissan LEAF. Since that time, the Staten Island Nissan LEAF has been making big waves in the world of green driving. In a statement earlier this month, Nissan officials announced that they have developed a charger for electric vehicles that's smaller, about half the price, and easier to install. This charger is scheduled to go on sale in November in Japan and is planned later for the U.S. and Europe, although dates are not set.
