Ca, CO (prHWY.com) October 13, 2011 - Generally, I watch a lot of movies, which is why I believe Netflix is one of the best inventions EVER. Well, I"m happy to announce I"ve found a new show worthy of my schedule, and that show is "Glee." "Glee," which airs on Fox on Dish Network on Tuesday nights, grabbed my attention back in May when they aired a special sneak peek after the finale of "American Idol." I really didn"t think I would get hooked on it, mostly because of all the hype surrounding it, but I found myself REALLY enjoying it. The season premiere kicked off last night and I checked it out to see if it would measure up. I"m happy to say it did.

By now, you've been exposed to enough promos, YouTube videos and renditions of old 1980s songs to know what "Glee" is about. The NBC show has taken a chokehold on the Zeitgeist, almost to the point of overload, and just when you think the show has jumped the shark, along comes a Christmas album ready to stuff your stockings.

The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, who first conceived Glee as a film. The three write all of the show's episodes and Murphy and Falchuk serve as the show's main directors. The pilot episode was broadcast on May 19, 2009, and the first season aired from September 9, 2009 to June 8, 2010.

Glee is a musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues.
