Toyota announces final 25 winners of Toyota's Cars for Good program

CHICAGO, IL (prHWY.com) October 15, 2011 - Toyota recently wrapped up its 100 Cars for Good program, which rewarded small nonprofit organizations for their hard work and dedication to their communities. Toyota gave away 100 cars to these deserving non profits, and last month, Toyota announced the final 25 award recipients. Toyota structured the 100 Cars for Good program as a contest that was based on the brand's Facebook page. Over the course of 100 days, five nonprofit organizations were featured on Toyota's Facebook page every day. These non profits were profiled, and fans were able to vote for the organization they thought was most deserving. Once all the votes were tallied, Toyota named the recipient, who then received a Toyota car. Award recipients were encouraged to use the vehicle to continue to do good in their local communities. The other contestants were awarded $1,000 each to use for their respective nonprofit organizations.
