When the Whiteheads Estate Agents re-opened their Bognor Regis branch two years ago, the West Sussex agents decided to make giving back to the community one of their guiding principles. They chose CLIC Sargent as their primary charitable partner, and since 2009 have raised an impressive £3,500 for the organisation. CLIC Sargent provides respite to families affected by childhood cancer and funds a luxury self-contained caravan in Pagham where families can enjoy a holiday together away from the hospital environment. The charity also provides support by funding specialist nursing and social care at area hospitals. Local help from within the community is vital to the services provided by CLIC Sargent, and the agents at Whiteheads were happy to answer the call for such a worthy cause.

The Bognor Regis estate agents have committed to a large number of fundraising activities for CLIC Sargent, including making fixed donations on completed sales, personal achievements by staff, and most recently, entering the Spirit FM Duck Race across the River Arun in which Whiteheads won and raised an impressive £1,500! The charity is not the only community organisation to benefit from Whiteheads' work. As part of their ongoing commitment to giving back to their community, the estate agents in Bognor Regis have just launched a fundraising campaign for local schools to help pay for equipment, educational trips or small projects that will aid learning. On every new instruction taken up to 1st January 2012, Whiteheads' Bognor team promise to pay the homeowners' school of choice £250 on completion of sale.
